Golf Destinations - Kruger National ParkThe Kruger National Park in South Africa is one of the oldest and largest reserves in Africa. The park boasts a tremendous variety of game and bird life in its numerous habitats. The Kruger National Park is visited yearly by a flood of tourists,as well as being internationally recognized as one of the premier destinations,to give you a wildlife experience like none other. The park stretches from the Crocodile River in the south to the Limpopo River, which is the international border in the north. Altogether it is 350 km long, 65 km wide and comprises an area of about 20,000 sq km. The Park boast a variety of species ranging from: trees, reptiles, birds to amphibians. The Northern part of the park populated with Mopane trees. The park has a variety of bushman rock paintings and archeological sites, which can be viewed while visiting. The North side of the park,contains one of the most scenic areas in the park,namely the Pafuri area.The park offers a variety of accommodation, ranging from rest camps, satellite camps, luxury safari lodges to remote bush camps and lodges, with a variety of facilities ranging from shops to swimming pools.
